I'm a senior backend engineer. I work at Alma, where I build pricing and compliance systems for European markets.
I've worked across a range of companies, and I tend to gravitate toward new domains and the challenges that come with scaling them.
I write code and I design systems. How things connect, how they fail, and how they behave at scale.
What I find interesting about backend work is where engineering decisions meet product needs. How a data model shapes what the product can do, how performance affects user experience, and how architecture decisions compound over time.
